No Future, No Cry (podcast series, 2024)
No Future, No Cry is a six-episode speculative audio series created and hosted by Dr. Syrus Marcus Ware. Developed during Ware’s 221A Fellowship, the project invites artists, writers, and activists to imagine worlds unfolding within the next century through original short fiction. Each episode pairs a narrated story with a conversation reflecting on the political, ecological, and social conditions shaping possible futures. Contributors to the series include Yousef Kadoura, Tiffany Lethabo King, Sandy Hudson, Leah
Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha, Samantha Curley and Chase Joynt (Level Ground), and Genki Ferguson.
